DESCRIPTION:Zion Choral is an interdenominational choir that has been a part of the local community for almost 100 years. As they look to their fall season\, they are looking for new members and will be holding Informal auditions May 12\, 7:00-8:15pm at East Swamp Church. Any interested singers\, high school through adult\, are invited to audition. (If you are unable to make the scheduled audition time\, I would be happy to schedule another time to meet with you.) While being able to read music is of course helpful\, it is not a necessary requirement. Rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings August 11 – November 17\, 7:15-9:00pm at Quakertown United Methodist Church. Zion concerts are presented at local churches Sunday afternoons October 18 – November 22 at 3:00pm. DESCRIPTION:The Hummelstown Hunger Run was created to raise money for the Hummelstown Food Pantry while providing a quality\, competitive\, and fun event for our participants. The event includes: 5K Run or Walk & 5M Run. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. The race/walk starts at 10:00 a.m. at Schaffner Park\, Corner of Poplar Ave. and Water St.\, Hummelstown. This event is pet and stroller friendly. All registrants will receive a gift bag that includes a race T-shirt\, etc. (T-shirts guaranteed if registered by 4/21.)
