PERKASIE, PA — Patchwork Coffeehouse is please to present this double bill with two great entertainers—Bunny Barnes, premiere guitarist, and Russ Rentler, multi-instrumentalist! Wheelchair accessible.

 

Fingerstyle guitarist Bunny Barnes performed at the CAAS (Chet Atkins Appreciation Society) Convention from 2021-2025. She has studied with celebrated guitarist Tommy Emmanuel since 2010 and placed fifth at the International Home of the Legends Thumbpicking Championship in the Traditional Category in 2017. She performed at the 60th Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival and opened many times for National Thumbpicking Award Winner, Muriel Anderson. She has opened for the California Guitar Trio and headlined at Sellersville Theater in January of 2025 with Rolly Brown & Curt Lippe. Her first instrumental album, “It Goes Like It Goes,” was inducted into the National Thumbpickers’ Hall of Fame as 2022 “Thumbpicking Recording of the Year!”

 

A gifted singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Russ Rentler blends Appalachian traditions with folk, Celtic, and blues influences, creating a one-of-a-kind musical experience. A founding member of the iconic Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band, alongside legends John Gorka and Richard Shindell, Russ is renowned for his dynamic live performances, featuring seamless instrument changes and humorous anecdotes from his unique journey as a physician-turned-troubadour.

 

Admission: $15 for adults; $12 for seniors 65 & up; students 13 and up, $8; 12 and under free. All ticket sales at door, no advance sales, no reservations.  Delicious desserts and drinks are available. The doors open at 7:00 and performances begin at 7:30.

A portion of our proceeds for the evening concert will go to Pennridge Rampacks.
